Since RERA came into force, it extended registration period for the builders up to 3 months. During this 3 months' slot builders are given the go ahead in terms of advertising and selling their ongoing projects, with consent of their respective regulatory authorities. This news has come into light in the press conference organized by industry body FICCI, subject to real estate regulation rules, held on just today.
Yet, there is no official statement released by the ministry of union housing and urban poverty alleviation (MHUPA) by far. The officials were discussing about RERA norms, where a panel embracing Anthony De Sa, chairman RERA & former chief secretary, Madhya Pradesh; Vini Mahajan, additional secretary, housing urban development, Punjab and Dilbag Singh Sihag, RERA Haryana committee & former chief town planner of Haryana, were seen presenting their viewpoint on RERA Act, followed by this additional update on promotional and selling dictum for the builders.
Real estate agents have to register with RA within this 3 months’ drawn-out. Those who won’t make it not over July 31st, all of their projects will be declared as ‘unauthorized’. RERA rules are set to protect homebuyers from fraudulence of the promoters. States that are found tweaking fundamental clause will be judged under juridical measure.
“Every agents & developer of the country should receive official statement of MHUPA in letters and spirits, on the subject of advertising and selling on-going projects within 3 months stretch of RERA execution.’’- opines West Bengal RERA expert Mr. Mahesh Somani.
