The CM of Jharkhand Raghubar Das declared on this Thursday 2.22 lakh affordable housing will more be constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) and these will be completed within coming 6 months.
About 2.22 lakh families from weaker economical section are likely to own their individual assets during Jharkhand foundation week (in November) along with which ‘House Warming Ceremony’ will also be celebrated.
More youths of the state will be employed during the construction work proceeds and they will be come through the training of mason, plumber and electrician. This course will make them ready for their respective job roles within 15 days. Housing welfare programme considers homeless, widows and orphans of the village to be provided home under PMAY.
There was an assembly of people from the Namkum block in Ranchi Dist on the occasion of panchayat volunteers' empowerment programme. These volunteers are having effective role throughout the development process as they have done a great survey portraying the real scenario of the villages.
Currently, there 18000 orphans in the state, being guardian to them state government would admit under 15 children to the residential schools. Two residential schools were being constructed for 15 years above students in Ranchi and Gumla and these schools will train students with the construction and related education. Government is focusing on 15 states and UTs to meet the deadline of Housing for All targeted by 2022. Affordable housing sector can be the growth- driver of Indian realty market according to the industry experts. This sector is likely to achieve investments from PE and FI pocket expectedly.
“Jharkhand state is putting up with the right steps that are necessary for the comprehensive growth of the state. In this way not only the state will meet their deadline of affordable housing, but also people for weaker economical section will be at work. We wish for same sort of positive movement in the course of the development of low budget flats in Kolkata and out skirts of Bengal,”- said Mr. Mahesh Somani the RERA expert of West Bengal Chapter.
